Monday: This week you'll be continuing to work on writing based on the novel 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Today, click on this PowerPoint and read up to slide 17 to learn how to use fronted adverbials to describe the meeting between Lucy and Mr Tumnus. When it asks you to watch a video, click on this link.
Tuesday: Continue to use this PowerPoint to learn how to use figurative language, fronted adverbials and brackets effectively in your descriptions of Mr Tumnus. Read from slides 18-28.
Wednesday: Continue to use this PowerPoint to keep working on your descriptions of Mr Tumnus using various techniques. Read slides 30-43 as well as these Pobble examples and highlight where different skills have been used. Then complete this worksheet.
Thursday: Read slides 45-50 of this PowerPoint to read some WAGOLLs and start planning your first two paragraphs.
Friday: Read slides 52-54 of this PowerPoint and write your final draft of your description of Mr Tumnus, using all the skills you have learnt this week.
