Reading tasks:

Friday: Click on this link to do a 'Daily ten' challenge. Choose your own level of difficulty and have fun!

 

Writing tasks:

Monday: This week you will be learning all about poetry. Go through this powerpoint up to slide 11 to start thinking about your senses and begin to write a poem about autumn. Use the teacher examples to help you to write your own verses.

Tuesday: Continue to use this powerpoint up to slide 16. Read this WAGOLL and underline any key adjectives, similes and personification that you would like to magpie. Then use the model on slide 16 to write your own autumn poem on this template!

Wednesday: Continue to use this powerpoint up to slide 32 to learn how to write an acrostic poem about harvest. Then use this template to write your own!

Tuesday: History - Go through this powerpoint to to learn all about Mary Seacole.

Wednesday: French - Click on this link to learn how to talk about birthdays in French.

Thursday: Geography: Go through this powerpoint to learn about different rivers of the world. Then choose one and complete this fact file. You can do some more research of your own using these links.

Friday: Computing: Create a poster giving advice about how to stay online using everything you have learnt this half term. All posters will be entered into our school competition!
