  • Wear Red Day
    On Friday 21st October we will be supporting the “Show Racism the Red Card” campaign. Children can bring £1 to school and wear red clothing to raise money for this fantastic charity!
  • Year 5 and Year 6 Level 2 Cross Country Stars
    A terrific effort by all the children involved, culminated in the qualification into the Citywide Manchester Finals over a three week period! The highlight came from Year 5 pupil Jada, who won her race each time!
  • HOME READING CHALLENGE - Thank you to all parents/carers for your reading support!
    Reading tip: Children who read widely and often, get better at it. Practice makes perfect in almost everything we do and reading is no different. The more we read at home and at school, the better we will be.
  • Our Moston Lane Rights Ambassadors for 2016/2017
    Each candidate gave a speech written by themselves and then were elected by their peers! Our Rights Ambassadors are; Class 7 - Jimmy, Class 8 - Philip, Class 9 - Abbie, Class 10 - Ellie, Class 11 - Ellie and Class 12 - Jada.
  • Gate Closure
    Due to ongoing school work, from next Tuesday 20th September the Ashley Lane entrance to school will be CLOSED for approximately 10 weeks.
  • Parents Evening
    Date for your diary… Parents’ Evening will be on Thursday 20th October. Letters will be sent home closer to the date.
  • New Staff!
    We have some new staff members that have started with us at Moston Lane. Miss Wilson, Miss Pritchard, Miss Kay, Miss Whiteley, Miss Barlow, Miss Long, Mr Harding, Miss Youldon and Miss Buckley.
  • Head Boy and Head Girl for 2016/17
    Thandaza & Mia were elected by their peers before the Summer break and we are excited that they have started in their role as the voice of our pupils. Our Deputy Head Boy and Girl for 2016/17 are Raymond & Roma.
  • REPAIRS TO THE ROOF
    Over the next 12 months the LA will be making major repairs to our school. This will initially involve building 4 temporary classrooms on the school field beginning on Monday 12th September.
  • School Trips
    School trips start this week. Please can you make sure that children are on time at 8.55am. Please remember that all children need to be wearing their school uniform.
